Frequently Asked Questions…

What do I wear?

Dress yourself in loose fitting, comfortable clothing. Anything that won’t restrict your movement will be great! Bring socks if you can. You’re welcome to change in our private restroom.

Will I feel sore?

Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is normal and expected. “Getting things moving again” means connecting with and awakening areas that may be sleepy, overworked, traumatized, etc. Healing is a necessary and uncomfortable process, and we have strategies to mitigate symptoms along the way:

Ice, heat, warm bath with epsom salt, topical balms, self or partner massage are all great ways to care for oneself along the way towards more freedom in the body.

What do I bring with me?

All props will be provided for in person sessions. You are welcome to bring your own mat, blanket, or props if you feel you will be more comfortable that way.

Virtual sessions may require an open space for your mat/blanket, a blanket, a chair, a yoga block or large book, etc. We can talk more about those potential needs when we meet.
